casual contact with an infected person (unless you both have open
wounds).
using towels or face clothes, there is no risk what so ever (don't
share floss or tooth brushes!).
hugging or kissing(but someone can have bad teeth, I just had 3
root canals and 20 fillings, so don't tell me it is uncommon in North America,
I was bleeding occasionally from severe cavities I had at gum line and could
easily be hidden if I did not smile full, I was a risk until I had my major
problems fixed!).
coughed or sneezed on by an infected person (if person was injured
and bleeding profusely, then risk or blood contaminating eyes or nasal cavity).
by sleeping in an infected persons bed or from linens (sheets,
pillow cases, blankets) used on the bed.
donating blood does not pose as a threat, all utensils and
needles are fresh these days and totally safe in North America (some third
world countries still do not full practice these safety features, when will
they learn?).
sitting on toilet seats, even a drop of
vaginal blood during menstruation would be safe after 30 seconds of exposure to
our regular atmosphere (air, the oxygen kills the HIV virus almost instantly
in some cases).
using public showers (except gay bath sex houses are highest risk
of all, incidences of rape).
using a bath tub of an infected person.
swimming in a pool is safe, even if a infected person was just
injured, all public pools in North America have sufficient chlorine.
swimming in a lake/ocean should be a large enough body of water to
make contact almost impossible, it gets dispersed very quickly.
animal bites or
insect stings and bites
(weird that mosquitoes can transmit West Nile virus, but not HIV, go figure?).
sharing forks, spoons, butter knives and other eating or cooking
utensils used by a HIV positive person.
sharing food or drinks, saliva is not easy to transmit HIV, you would
have to literally drink a gallon of spit for it to be a low risk (unless
infected person has major dental situation causing bad teeth).
there is no excuse for not using condoms, even if you are infected with a
disease or not, bare backing is not safe and is the highest risk to
contracting HIV, don't let someone sweet talk you for their enjoyment or
revenge on the world (some POZ people will purposely infect others in belief
this will pay back society or quicken research for the cure).
